Make Art Day at VAM

On Saturday November 13th, Visual Arts Mississauga held its first Make Art Day! This was a day dedicated to free arts programming for all ages & the chance to Meet & Greet with our talented group of Mississauga-based, emerging Artists in Residence for 2021-22.
An Artist’s Talk was given by Artist Marlon Porter who shared his photography and nature film. Artist Veronica Spiljak used coding to create an interactive drawing installation of text and colour. In the MacEwan Barn, Artists Ray Vidal & T.J. Banate collaborated on improvised sets featuring audio visual performance of original and re-imagined songs.
